The Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, Hon Mondli Gungubele will be in Grabouw, Theewaterkloof Local Municipality, Western Cape Province, Grabouw on Thursday, 18 May 2023 to monitor progress made on the BDM programme.

The Department and portfolio entities are working tirelessly to ensure readiness for the ultimate switch-off of analogue television transmission and end of dual illumination in the Western Cape as one of the remaining four provinces in the country.
