King William’s Town: Msobomvu Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide following an accident involving two motor vehicles along the N2 road near Qhorha Village between Butterworth and Dutywa. The accident claimed the life of a 36-year-old male driver while his female passenger aged 56 was injured.
The accident took place on Friday 25, January 2019 at about 10h30. The other vehicle was travelling from Butterworth direction while the other vehicle was travelling from Dutywa direction. The cause of the accident is not yet known however it is under investigation by Msobomvu Police detectives. The identity of the deceased is still being withheld as some of his close relatives are yet to be informed of his death.
