Namakgale and Lebowakgomo Police Stations temporarily closed for COVID-19 decontamination

POLOKWANE – All community members that are serviced by Namakgale Police station in the Mopani District and Lebowakgomo Police Station in the Capricorn District are advised that these police stations have been temporarily closed for decontamination process after some of their members have tested positive for COVID-19.
Temporary arrangements for the provision of policing services have been made as follows:
Namakgale Police Station: Services will be rendered from station hall situated within the station premises. The numbers to call are:
Station Commander, Colonel Bila 082 565 8074;
Vispol Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Thete 082 449 7958;
Detective Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Mahlathi 082 469 1240 or
Communication Officer Sergeant Lebogang Selepe 082 445 9414.
Lebowakgomo Police Station: Services will be rendered from the temporary Community Service Centre that has been placed in front of the police station. The numbers to call are:
Station Commander, Colonel Kgwedi 082 451 7229 or
CSC Cellphone number 079 890 9209.
The telephone lines at Namakgale and Lebowakgomo Police stations will not be accessible for the duration of the temporary closure. Members of the community from the affected station precincts are advised to use 10111 for emergencies and the numbers that have been provided above for all other complaints.
Both Police stations will again be fully operational on Monday, 27 July 2020.
