POSTMASBURG – Operation Reject and Report Stolen Goods continued in the greater Postmasburg area yesterday and today, 14 April 2022.

ZF Mgcawu district personnel, SAPS Provincial Flash, Provincial and Station Corporate Communication, Danielskuil SAPS in conjunction with Kolomela Mine continued raising awareness at Kolomela mine.

The police efforts were appreciated by the General Manager of Kolomela Mine, Mr Masala. He also commended the police for the sound partnership and good relations in the fight against crime.

The Project concluded with a multi-disciplinary roadblock on the Postmasburg/ Kathu road during which 191 vehicles and 432 persons were stopped and searched.

Pamphlets were also distributed during community interactions.

A total of 7 fines were issued for various offences amounting to R5500.00.

The police also wished road users a safe journey and shared road safety tips with the motorists.
