Operation “Sustainability” continues attaining good results in Mthatha Cluster

EASTERN CAPE – In the effort to fight stock theft, unlawfully possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition and house robberies in Bityi, Qumbu and Sulenkama areas. On Wednesday 26 June 2019 .Four (4) suspects ages between 45 and 68 years were arrested for possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition at Baziya, Tabase and Xhongora.

At Qumbu 33 sheep and 6 Cows were recovered from the forest in Sulenkama.

14 wanted suspects were arrested for robbery, Assault GBH and Illegal immigrants also 3 shebeen were closed and 3 Taverns were issued with compliance notices.

Cluster Commander Brig Mandlakhe Twala commended all the operators for these successes. He mentioned that the confiscated of firearms it save the lives of our community. “Let us squeeze the space for criminals together.
