MOPANI DISTRICT – SAPS in Mopani District through the communication officer Constable Khomotso Roseline Hlokwe have embarked on a live Radio campaign with Perfect Radio under Mokwakwaila policing precinct today.

Constable Hlokwe was accompanied by SAPS Mokwakwaila Vispol and Communication Officer Sergeant Tinyiko Manganyi and newly appointed Constable Tshepo Motseo.

The trio advised the listeners on the following issues:

Parents were urged to support their children with matric results coming out next Thursday, learners anxiously wait to see if they have succeeded. The outcome and waiting for results usually come with anxiety and depression.

Parents to keep a close eye on their children as it is the rainy season to prevent drownings.

Encouraged learners to walk in groups when going and coming from school and not to trust strangers.

Advised listeners to report any act of gender-based violence.

School Safety Awareness Campaigns are unfolding across the District.
