Police arrested a 34-year-old man today at about 13:00 and found drugs hidden in a stove. The intelligence driven operation by members of Johannesburg CIS and West Rand K9 Unit led to the arrest of the suspect in Florida at Belgrade flats.
It alleged that since police got the information early this month they have been doing observation until this morning when police launched an operation. Police searched the flat and found a plastic bag with Crystal and Rock worth of thousands of rand in the stove.
The arrested suspect will appear in Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 24 April 2019.
