Police continue with community outreach programme in Phalaborwa

POLOKWANE – The Station Commander of Phalaborwa Colonel Rakhadani together with the Vispol member Captain Maraba, Social Crime Prevention members Sergeant Nkwinika, Sergeant Makhubela and Communication Officer Sergeant Mongwe have today, 01 April 2021, conducted community outreach programme supported by Metropolitan Company at Phalaborwa CBD.

The campaign reached a total number of 692 community members. The following issues were addressed:

* Neighborhood watch.

* Domestic violence.

* Sexual offences.

* Fraud and Theft by false pretence.

* Drugs and alcohol abuse.

* Compliance with Covid-19 regulations act.

Members appealed to those who will be taking vacations to report vacant houses at the nearest police station to ensure that police conduct regular patrols.

Motorists were also advised to comply with the Road Traffic Act.
