Police in Kagisanong request information on the murder of a Grade 11 learner

KAGISANONG – The police are asking for information from the public that can help solve the murder of a 20-year-old male who died after being severely assaulted by a group of unknown young men. It is alleged that on Tuesday 22 November 2022, the Grade 11 learner at Kaelang High School was walking with his friends in the JB Mafora area of Bloemfontein, going to the local store.
They arrived at the store and completed a purchase, then suddenly came a group of young men, all armed with dangerous weapons. The group started to attack them for unknown reasons. They all tried to run for their lives, but unfortunately the learner tripped and fell, and as such, the attackers got to him and stabbed him several times.
He was later rushed to a hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. No suspects have been arrested yet; the investigation continues.
