POLOKWANE – The South African Police Service in Zaaiplaas outside Groblersdal have launched a massive search operation for a missing elderly woman, Rangoato Martha Mohlala (72) who reportedly disappeared from her home on Wednesday, 19 February 2020 at about 07:00 in the morning.
This after she allegedly went missing while family members were preparing food for her.
The Police were notified about the incident and a Search and Rescue team comprising the local police, the K9 Unit and Mounted Unit immediately embarked on the search operation, joined by members of the community. The team covered the surrounding areas including the mountains without success.
She was last seen wearing maroon traditional dress with a white doek and blue shoes.
The Police are appealing to anyone with information that can assist in locating the missing woman to urgently contact Warrant Officer Mhletshwa Shabangu on 082 303 9894 or the Crime stop number 08600 10111 or the nearest police station.
The Police investigations are still continuing.
