The South African Police Service in Vuwani outside Thohoyandou have launched a search operation to find the missing elderly woman, Alidzuli Phalanndwa aged 83, residing at Ramukhuba Village went missing on 26 February 2021 after she allegedly left home to fetch wood at the nearby bushes.

Allegedly, the missing woman’s niece was surprised when her grandmother did not return home until in the evening at around 18:00, she then started to look for her but she did not find her.

She disappeared wearing blue and white towel with yellow strips and blue tekkies.

She reported the matter to the police, and search operations were activated at relatives and surrounding areas without success.
