Police members in the Aliwal North Cluster out in numbers to enforce the law

ALIWAL NORTH – Stations in the Cluster continued with their operational activities in order to ensure a safe and secure weekend and that the law are being at hear to.

Lady Grey concluded their operation under command of Captain Gade and managed to search 201 vehicles and persons and confiscated dagga.

After the roadblock Aliwal North had on the N6, Colonel Wright and Lieutenant Colonel Kotze with the members moved into town and showed a zero tolerance towards places without no liquor compliance. Searches were conducted in town and the taxi rank and a case for possession of dagga was opened.

The Sterkspruit team under command of Colonel Mbolekwa also focused on drunk and driving and confiscated liquor where there was no compliance.

The acting Cluster Commander Colonel Wright commended the members for the hard work and encouraged them to stay committed and dedicated so to ensure our communities feel and are safe during the festive season.
