Police on the heels of suspects following robbery at a cell phone store

Jeffreys Bay: Police are hot on the heels of the suspects after five armed men allegedly hit a cell phone store in Jeffreys Bay today.

It is alleged that on Monday, 12 November 2018 at about 11:00, five men stormed into a cell phones store in Jeffreys Bay. One of the suspects wielding a firearm threatened the two employees, while others tied up the victims (same two employees).

They ransacked the store and stole an unknown number of cellphones before fleeing the scene in two vehicles. Moments later, the tied up employees managed to free themselves and pressed a panic alarm button to activate armed response of a private security company. Police have opened a case of business robbery for investigation and are already following up on strong leads to trace the suspects. Arrests are imminent.
