EASTERN CAPE – Gelvandale detectives are urgently seeking the community’s assistance in tracing the next of kin of a teenager whose body was found this morning, in bushes in Gelvandale.
It is alleged that at about 08:30 police received information of a body of a female lying in bushes between Gelvandale and Algoa Park. The female, approximately 16-year-old was wearing a pair of black pants and a purple top. Her hair is braided. She sustained multiple stab wounds.
A case of murder is under investigation. An additional charge of rape may be added pending the post mortem report.
