Provincial Commissioner visits Anti-Gang Unit parade: Port Elizabeth

EASTERN CAPE – Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen Liziwe Ntshinga inspected the parade at 06:00 this morning for members of the Anti-Gang Unit reporting on duty. Lt Gen Ntshinga expressed her gratitude to the members for their hard work and cautioned them to be alert at all times especially for their own safety.

Make sure that you are properly attired and that you have your bullet proofs on at all times. Your safety is very important. Your presence must be felt in every corner of the northern areas. We must ensure that these criminals have no space to move and we must exert the authority of the State. We will not allow them to disregard the law and we will arrest these criminals so that the children and the communities are safe, added Lt Gen Ntshinga. The Provincial Commissioner will be accompanying the members on foot patrols and crime prevention duties in the northern areas.
