The Ministry of Public Enterprises on Thursday warned the public about a number of fake Facebook accounts which purport to be those of Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown.

“The Ministry wishes to put it on record that Minister Brown is not active on Facebook and deactivated her personal account almost a year ago. These accounts do not belong to the Minister and any content uploaded on any of these accounts, messages sent from it and comments made on it should not be attributed to Minister Brown,” said the Ministry.

The Ministry said it believes the accounts were created with the intention to mislead the public.
