Ngqamakhwe police arrested a 29-year-old man for the alleged rape of a 23-year-old woman. The suspect was arrested on Monday, 17 June 2019. It is alleged that the victim was from a tavern on Saturday, 15 June 2019 at about 23:00 at Dudumashe Village, Ngqamakhwe.
She went to the homestead of her boyfriend but on the way met the suspect who dragged her to his home where the alleged rape took place. The 29-year-old suspect will appear before the Ngqamakhwe Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 18 June 2019 on a rape charge.
