Safer Festive Season operation success: Barkly East

BARKLY EAST – Members of the South African Police Service comprising of K9 Unit, Stock Theft Unit and Barkly East Visible Policing conducted a Safer Festive Season Operation at Barkly East started on Saturday, 01 February 2020 from 18:00 until midnight.

The focus was to monitor liquor outlets, to prevent stock theft while conducting high police visibility patrols. The Operational Commander, Captain Van Vuuren told the members on parade that a zero tolerance approach to crime must be the order of the day and members were urged to always be professional and to look after their fellow members at all times and the image of the organization not to be compromised.

15 Dagga plants – all recovered items were found at vacant house abounded booked at SAP 13 register
