SAPS family pays last respects to one of their own in Keiskammahoek

EASTERN CAPE – SAPS Family joined hands today, 07 September 2019, in honoring an official funeral service of Captain Zola Gantsho at Zanyokwe Location in Keiskammahoek. The late member, who was attached to East London POP lost his life in a motor vehicle accident.

The 57-year-old patriot, joined the South African Police Service in 1988, and has served in different units within the department.

Captain Gantsho was characterised as a disciplined, committed and reliable member of the service. Colonel Amos Vingqi, who represented Component Operational Response Services, described the late member as a strong leader who stood loyally during difficult and challenging times.

Major General Thobeka Kunene, who represented the Provincial Commissioner extended condolences to Gantsho family on behalf of the SAPS Management. She further expressed sadness of losing one of SAPS family members. “Passing on of one member of our family is a real loss,” she said.
