Accra:South African Reserve Bank The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) has issued a warning about a fraudulent WhatsApp group falsely claiming to offer daily stock recommendations from Governor Lesetja Kganyago.
According to South African Government News Agency, the Reserve Bank emphasized that this group is a scam and Governor Kganyago is not associated with any WhatsApp group that provides investment advice or stock recommendations.
The SARB has advised the public against joining or interacting with such groups, clicking on any related links, or sharing personal or financial information. They clarified that neither the SARB nor the Governor provides investment advice, stock recommendations, or financial tips through WhatsApp or any other platform.
