Science on the Street: Igniting Conversations about Science

Church Square in Pretoria will be abuzz withexcitement from 08 � 09 December, as scientists demonstrate to the public, the value of science and technology in society.

The Science on the Street exhibition brought by the Department of Science and Technology to the city, is part of the second installment of Science Forum South Africa (SFSA) which is aimed at igniting conversations about science in society.

The forum, taking place at the CSIR International Conventions Centre, is intended to enrich the national public discourse on the importance and role of science in society and provide a broad platform for the DST to consult with a broad range of stakeholders in this regard.

The general public, learners and students are expected to visit Church Square over the two days to participate in science shows, experiments, and guidance on careers in science and technology.
