NORTHERN CAPE – Police in Kathu have launched an intensive search for murder suspect/s.

The search is a sequel of the fatal shooting of a 40-year-old man.

The victim was allegedly shot while seated in a car next to a tavern at Mapoteng outside Kathu last night at about 22:00. He was shot several times in the head.

Further police investigations revealed that the deceased was found in possession of drugs.

The motive has not yet been established as yet. No arrest has been made and anyone with information is kindly requested to contact the Investigating Officer, Constable Mangaliso at 073 804 4316.
