Seven men arrested for robbery at Bothitong

Seven men aged between 21 and 26 years were arrested by Bothitong saps members for robbery which took place at a local tavern on the early hours on Sunday, 25 April 2021.

It is reported that a 22-year-old man was assaulted and robbed off his belongings including two cell phones, school bag and shoes. The total value of the items amount to R3000.

The Acting District Commissioner of John Taolo Gaetsewe, Brigadier Francis Hender commended the Bothitong saps members for their swift reaction that secured the arrest.

All seven suspects will appear before the Mothibistad Magistrates’ Court soon on a charge of robbery.
