The public should please note that the Simon’s Town and Kommetjie drop-off facilities will be closed on Sunday, 13 March 2022 due to the Cape Town Cycle Tour.

During this time, the public are encouraged to take their recyclables to the closest alternate drop-off facilities, Retreat and Coastal Park. Their operating times are:

• Retreat: 08:00 to 13:00

• Coastal Park: 08:00 to 14:00

‘I wish all the cyclists on the tour all the best. We ask our residents to be patient with us during this time, and visit one of the other facilities, if need be. We regret any inconvenience during this time,’ said Alderman Grant Twigg, Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Waste Management.

Please note that Coastal Park landfill does not accept E-waste.
