The Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) calls on members of the media to apply for accreditation to attend, and cover, the Presidential Social Sector Summit.

The Summit will take place over a period of two days – on the 4th and the 5th of August 2022 at the Birchwood Hotel and Conference Centre in Ekurhuleni – Gauteng Province.

The Presidential Social Sector Summit is part of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s call on all sectors in South Africa to collaborate with the government to address the triple challenges of poverty, unemployment and inequality.

Members of the media are invited to apply for accreditation to cover the Presidential Social Sector Summit by completing the attached registration form in full.

Submissions may be sent to Ms. Nomfundo Xulu-Lentsoane on email to NomfundoLe@dsd.gov.za(link sends e-mail) / 066 480 6845 by no later than Tuesday, 26 July 2022 at 16h00.
