South Africa Police Rescue 44 Illegal Immigrants in Sandton


Sandton: The South African Police Service (SAPS) has successfully rescued 44 illegal immigrants who were discovered locked in a house in Parkmore, Sandton. The individuals have been taken to the local police station for processing by the Department of Home Affairs.

According to Nam News Network, an investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances under which these individuals arrived in the country and were subsequently locked inside the house. The South African Police Service stated that the possibility of human trafficking is being considered as part of the investigation.
