Pinetown police made a break through yesterday when they arrested a 32-year-old suspect for killing his 57-year-old stepmother. The victim was reported missing on the 21

February 2018, her body was found at the bottom of a cliff next to Ekuthuleni area in Wyebank three days later. A case of murder was opened at Pinetown police station for investigation. An intensive investigation revealed that the victim was killed by her stepson who put her in a wheelbarrow and dumped her body down the cliff. The suspect left the area and went into hiding. Yesterday the members heard that the suspect was in the area and proceeded to Ekuthuleile where he was arrested and charged. He is expected to appear tomorrow in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court.
