EASTERN CAPE – On 16 February 2020, members of Strkspruit Visible Policing under command of Sgt Mvelase, continued with crime prevention activities. Members managed to close down a Shebeen without a license. Two suspect age 33 and 29 were arrested and the liquor confiscated.

During the day positive information was also followed up by Sgt Mvelase and his team, as they were busy with stop and search activities in town. A 23-year-old suspect was arrested for possession of dagga. The dagga to the value of R1500-00 was confiscated.

The acting Cluster Commander Col Chris Wright commended the members on the good work.
