MTHATHA- Police conducted an operation that led to a successful arrest of the infamous stock thief, a 30-year-old male suspect from Nguqha locality in Nqwathi A/A on Thursday, 06 May 2021.

The suspect has been evading arrest for various criminal offenses allegedly committed ranging from stock theft, murder and unlawful possession of illegal firearm and ammunition in Bityi area.

The suspect was found in possession of a prohibited firearm and ammunition.

Police confiscated a pistol, one (1) magazine, nine (9) cartridges and black leather inside. He is expected to appear in Bityi magistrate’s court soon.
