Stolen cellphones valued at R50 000 recovered

KING WILLIAM’S TOWN A total of 208 stolen cellphones worth R50 000 were recovered by Bityi VISPOL members after a business burglary was reported to Mqanduli police where unknown men were seen loading boxes from a local shop into their Ford Ranger with no number plates today at about 00h45. Bityi Vispol members were patrolling the N2 when they spotted the vehicle and pursued it untill Payne locality in Mthatha where the suspects dumped it and fled on foot. The vehicle which is not reported stolen was confiscated.
