Suspect arrested for dagga at Mount Fletcher

FLETCHER – A 51-year-old suspect with dagga on 11 February 2021 at 19:30. Constable Sicwebu from Visible Policing and Crime Prevention members received a tip off about a suspect that was selling dagga at his homestead at Katlehong, Mount Fletcher area.
The members proceeded to the above mentioned homestead and on their arrival the house was searched and the loose dagga was found in black refuge bags. The dagga is weighing 9,921kg.
The 51-year-old suspect was arrested and will appear in the Mount Fletcher magistrate court on Monday the 15 February 2021.
The acting District Commissioner Brigadier Rudolph Adolph commended the members on the swift reaction and the arrest of the suspect and confiscation of the dagga.
