In an unrelated matter Harare SAPS members have arrested three suspects who were allegedly involved in the brutal killing of two victims and the attempted murder of three. Yesterday, 13 April 2021 at about 14:30, police attended a scene in 41 Block Makhaza where two victims were stoned to death allegedly by the community members. They were allegedly accused of breaking into the houses and stealing other people’s items. The members of the community got hold of the five and allegedly assaulted them of which two died due to injuries sustained and three were admitted in hospital with serious injuries.

Initial investigation led to the arrest of three suspects aged between 27 and 32 who are still in custody until their court appearance in Khayelitsha on Friday, 16 April 2021.
