Suspect arrested with dagga: Olifantshoek

On Wednesday, 06 February 2019 at about 02:30 the Olifantshoek SAPS arrested a 27-year-old man, Mr Lebogang Boitse with dagga at the hiking spot in Olifantshoek, Northern Cape. Police were patrolling and found fifteen (15) black bags containing dagga with the suspect.

The dagga has an estimated street value of R7 500.00 and weighs 11.435kg.

The suspect was charged with dealing in dagga and appeared on Thursday, 07 February 2019 in the Olifantshoek Magistrate’s Court. The case was postponed to 14 February 2019 for a formal bail application. The investigation continues.
