Suspect busted with drugs in Joubertina

JOUBERTINA: Committed members from the South African Police Service in Joubertina continued to clamp down on criminal activities today. Two off-duty SAPS members received valuable information today about a possible drug consignment that was destined for Joubertina. Members acted promptly and arrested a 29-year-old male on the R62 at about 15:30, who was found in possession of 89 mandrax tablets with a street value of R3600-00. The suspect is due to appear in the Joubertina Magistrates’ Court during the course of this week.

The Humansdorp Cluster Commander, Brigadier John Lebok commended the police officials for the good work which led to the arrest of the suspect and the removal of the drugs off the streets.
