ALEXANDRIA – The Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offence Unit in Port Alfred are seeking the assistance of the community in tracing Mark Paul, a white male aged 41 who is wanted for questioning on a charge of rape against a minor, opened in December 2019.

Shortly after the case was opened, the suspect fled Alexandria where he worked on a farm.

A warrant for his arrest has been issued by the Magistrate in Alexandria. Several attempts to contact him through his family and friends was unsuccessful. He has not been reported missing. Soon after he fled Alexandria, information was received that the suspect was living in Port Elizabeth and thereafter Uitenhage. Mark Paul wears a distinct tattoo on one of his upper arms.

Any person who can assist in locating the suspect to contact the investigating officer Detective Sergeant Yapi 071 475 2361, the SAPS Crime Stop number on 08600 10111 or their nearest Police Station.
