DURBAN – Yesterday afternoon, Empangeni vehicle crime investigators and the Inanda Tactical Response Team conducted a joint operation along the P266 road near the Amatikulu Sugar Mill at Gingindlovu.

The operation led to the arrest of a suspect who was found in possession of stolen motor vehicle. The double cab bakkie was allegedly reported stolen at the Villieria police station. The suspect was arrested and detained at the Gingindlovu police station. He was charged for being in possession of a stolen motor vehicle and is expected to appear before Gingindlovu Magistrate’s Court today facing the same charges.
