HUMANSDORP CLUSTER: In an attempt to address serious incidents of crime in the Humansdorp Cluster, the police in Thornhill have set up an extensive search for four armed suspects who allegedly robbed a business in Daweti Street, Phase 2, Thornhill, tonight, 20 September 2018 at about 18:20.

It is alleged that four armed suspects entered the shop, threatened the owner with firearms and demanded cash, cigarettes, airtime and groceries from the store. The suspects fled in a silver Volvo S40 from the scene. Thornhill detectives are investigating a case of robbery at a business premises. Detectives are following up on all possible leads.

The South African Police Service appeal to business owners to be vigilant of any suspicious behaviour and to increase their security measures.
