Three suspects arrested in Darling with West Coast rock lobster

Western Cape: Our efforts to address the illegal poaching of marine resources resulted in the arrest of three suspects yesterday afternoon in Darling for being in possession of West Coast rock lobster without a permit valued at an estimated R30 000-00.

Members from the Western Cape Flying squad reacted on intelligence and pursued a suspicious Toyota Conquest on the R27 in Darling. The vehicle was stopped for inspection which led to the discovery of 2153 rock lobster tails, one unit of the heroin based drug, unga and cash.
