MPUMALANGA- Two suspects aged between 30 and 36 are expected to appear before the Standerton Magistrate s Court on Thursday, 20 October 2022 after they were arrested by Standerton K9 on Tuesday, 18 October 2022 for dealing in drugs.

The arrest followed after the Standerton K9 members intercepted a female suspect who was in possession drugs. The suspect was arrested and detained pending first court appearance. Members of the Hawks Secunda based Serious Organised Crime Investigation were handed over the investigation.

During the preliminary investigation, the team interviewed the female suspect whereby her alibi led the team to the house of the male suspect. During the search, the accused was also found in possession of drugs. The following types of drugs were seized unpacked Crystal meth small and medium and unpacked Cat.

The accused will appear before the Standerton Magistrate Court on Thursday 20 October 2022. Investigation is continuing.
