GAUTENG – Members were busy conducting crime prevention patrols at Fochville residency area when they spotted a white Toyota double cab with three males and a female inside. Police approached them and two of the suspects immediately ran away.

Upon searching, police found two firearms, ammunition and they also found out that the vehicle registration is faulty.

Two suspects a male aged 47 and a 35-year-old female couldn’t give proper explanation of the firearms.

Captain Mlambo congratulated the members for their hard work that resulted in the arrests, and he emphasized that police must continue to do stop and searches to ensure that perpetrators of crime are brought to book.

The suspects will appear at Fochville Magistrate court soon.
