JOHANNESBURG – Police arrested two suspects between the age of 25 and 26 for armed robbery and possession of ammunition at corner Kerk and Mooi Street on 03 February 2020 at 15:00.

Police were busy with their routine crime prevention duties when they saw three suspects robbing a 24-year-old male in the above mentioned streets. One of the suspects pointed him with a firearm while his accomplices searched him; they took his cell phone, wallet and laptop before they fled the scene. Police gave chase and apprehended two suspects; belongings of the victim was recovered. They also recovered two live ammunition from one of the suspects. One is still at large with a firearm.

Investigation is under way and suspects will appear soon in the Johannesburg Magistrate Court.
