EASTERN CAPE – Police recovered the bodies of the family who were kidnapped at their homestead on Monday 02 December 2019.
The three family members, a 71-year-old gogo together with her granddaughters aged 16 and 17 were last seen on Sunday night.
A search was conducted and today the bodies were found by a shepherd floating in the river near Mhlahlane River.
Police were summoned and divers were called and managed to retrieve the bodies. The bodies were find tight with chains.
Three cases of murder and kidnapping were opened and no arrest has been made yet.
