EASTERN CAPE – Police arrested a 37-year-old wanted female suspect, connected to the three suspects that were arrested during the pre-dawn operation takedown that was conducted by the Eastern Cape Anti-Corruption Team on Thursday, 13 May 2021.

Vuyokazi Nontsebenzo Mxaba was apprehended on Wednesday, 19 May 2021 and appeared in Somerset West Court in the Western Cape.

The suspect will appear again on Tuesday, 25 May 2021 in Lusikisiki Magistrates court facing charges of corruption, extortion, possession and dealing in Dagga and is currently in police custody in the Western Cape waiting to be transported to Eastern Cape.
