PRETORIA – Two accused, Michael Sass (57), the Chief Finacial Officer at the National Health Laboratories Services and Felicia Sekete (32) , a Director at Feliham appeared in the Specialised Commercial Crimes sitting in Palm Ridge this morning on charges of the Contravention of the Public Finance Management Act, fraud alternatively theft.

Sekete and Sass were appearing on charges relating to the multimillion personal protective equipment tender at the National Health Laboratories Services. The pair was arrested on the morning of 15 August 2021 by the Serious Corruption Investigation of the Hawks.

The pair’s case was postponed to 05 October 2021 for further investigation after they were granted R20 000-00 bail each.
