The City’s Water and Sanitation Department originally planned to conduct zero pressure tests on the main water supply to the Mount Rhodes area bounded by Victoria and Leeukoppie roads in Hout Bay from Thursday, 26 May 2022, from 20:00 until 04:00 on Friday, 27 May 2022. This eight-hour shutdown has now been postponed until further notice.

As part of careful consideration given to the planning of this work to ensure minimal disruption to the water supply in the affected areas, the City has decided to postpone this planned activity.

The City regrets any inconvenience caused.
