In a major win for the Western Cape’s export industry, the largest consignment of horses from the Western Cape to the United Arab Emirates will depart tomorrow (30 November 2015).
Alan Winde, Minister of Economic Opportunities, will be at Cape Town International Airport tomorrow morning to witness the event.
The development comes after Minister Winde led a Western Cape delegation to the UAE earlier this year. Increasing the trade of horses between the two regions was noted as a key priority during Minister Winde’s official visit.
