Willowvale man arrested for alleged murder

KING WILLIAM’S TOWN: Willowvale Police arrested a 21-year-old man for alleged murder of a 32-year-old man. It is alleged that both the suspect and the deceased were in a tarven at Mpume Locality, Ntube Village, Willowvale on Monday, 25 March 2019 at about 19h00.

It is further alleged that the suspect drank the liquor of the deceased without his permission. This resulted to a quarrel as the 32-year -old man was not happy by what was being done by the suspect. The suspect drew his knife and fatally wounded the 32-year-old man.

The suspect was traced and arrested after the murder case was reported at Willowvale Police Station. The suspect will appear before the Willowvale Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 27 March 2019 on a murder charge.

The tarven will be closed by the Willowvale Police as a murder was reported in its premises. The identity of the deceased will be published once all his close relatives are informed of his murder.
