Willowvale police investigate murder case with four counts

Willowvale Police are investigating a murder case with four (04) counts. It is alleged that police were informed that there were four (04) people who were shot dead on the night of Saturday, 22 June 2019 between 19:00 and Sunday, 23 June 2019, 08:00. The murder took place at Kulombethe Locality, Dadamba Village, Willowvale.

The motive behind the killings is not known so far. All the deceased people were shot on their upper bodies and died at the scene. The deceased were identified as follows: 79-year-old man, Thuna Blayi, 45-year-old woman Noyebanye Bobo, 9-year-old boy Olwam Bobo and 8-year-old girl Anathi Bobo.

Butterworth SAPS Cluster has formed a special unit to investigate the murders. Anyone with information is kindly requested to contact Willowvale police on 047 499 6234 or Crime Stop No 08600 10111. The information will be treated confidentially. No one has been arrested at this point in time and police are investigating. Butterworth Cluster Commander Brigadier Ngangema Xakavu condemned the brutal murders and vowed that police will leave no stone unturned to bring the perpetrator/s to book.
