A 29 - year - old woman has been arrested for allegedly aborting her baby at Amilema village in the Oshikoto Region . According to the Namibian Police Force ' s crime investigations coordinator for the region , Deputy Commissioner Titus Ekandjo , the incident occurred around 02h00 on Thursday at a cuca shop . ' It is alleged that the suspect took two abortion pills that she had allegedly bought from a doctor in Oshakati , which caused her to bleed until the foetus came out . She then wrapped the lifeless foetus in a black cloth and buried it underground near the toilet at her workplace , where she had allegedly committed the abortion ,' Ekandjo said . The suspect ' s colleague discovered bloodstains all over the toilet around 06h00 and immediately alerted their manager , who then informed the police . ' The two leftover tablets were seized and the foetus was taken to the Omuthiya Police mortuary ,' Ekandjo said .
