Woman found with bags full of dagga

The Acting Station Commander of Upington Colonel Gert Jobs commended the members of Crime Prevention for the arrest of a 49-year-old woman found in possession of dagga on Sunday, 18 April 2021.

The members received information about a woman walking in town with bags allegedly full of dagga. They followed it up and found the woman in Mark Street where they stopped and searched her and confiscated dagga with an estimated street value of R72 460-00. The suspect is expected to appear in court soon.
